Summary

Primary responsibilities include the development and maintenance of data models, analytic reports, and dashboards to support the needs of a fast-moving organization.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and technical skills with strong knowledge of SQL, business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI), visual design best practices, and experience supporting finance, sales, and/or supply chain organizations.

Responsibilities

• Understand the database structures and their business meaning in use by the organization
• Partner with organizations within the business to understand and support their analytic and dataneeds.
• Develop and maintain dashboards in Tableau.
• Develop and maintain data models for business reporting.
• Develop test plans and scripts maintain reporting accuracy.
• Produce analysis of business data to support various business needs and discovery.
• Produce documentation for all workproducts.
• Support the improvement and participation of department development operations best practices.
• Follow change control and change management policies and procedures
• Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with producing reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Excel, SQL Server, Power BI.
• Experience using data in both structured and unstructured formats.
• SQL experience.
• Ability to work well in distributed teams with excellent communication skills to ensure their tasks and ideas are effectively understood.
  This includes but is not limited to proactively providing status updates, identifying areas and opportunities for improvement, and escalation of problems and issues to managers.
• Excellent Communication Skills with very high degree of verbal and written proficiency both technical and operational, professional attitude in all interactions
• -Working knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as Python or C# is a plus.
• -Working knowledge of data orchestration tools such as Fivetran, Airflow, DBT is a plus.
• Outgoing, action-oriented self-starter who enjoys fast paced dynamic environments who works well individually and in a team.
