What You Will Be Doing

As the Web Developer, you will be responsible for writing clean, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way, Producing detailed specifications as well as troubleshooting, testing and maintaining the core product software and databases.

This position is a hybrid of continuous maintenance and new feature development.

Duties include :

• Write clean, well-designed code


• Produce detailed specifications


• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality


• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle


• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools

What You Need for this Position

• 3+ years' experience with PHP frameworks Codeigniter, Laravel or Symfony (Please no WordPress or Magento)


• Must be proficient writing optimized SQL queries


• Must be experienced in building REST interfaces


• Debugging and troubleshooting experience required


• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms required


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar / equivalent highly desired


• Experience in Insurtech, Ecommerce and / or B2C industries would be a homerun!
