The HEALTHCARE ECONOMICS INTERN will be responsible for…

*Primary responsibilities include supporting:*

- Projects will support activities centered around fee-schedule based reimbursement in the California market for our Commercial line of business.
- Intern will utilize suite of Tableau based reports to analyze and benchmark observed reimbursement levels.
- Competitive Intelligence information will be surveyed and tracked to assess availability and credibility for use in upcoming negotiations and analysis of current market position.

*Functions OR examples of projects for this role:*

- Develop tracking for competitive intelligence analytics.
- Ensure analytics are available and requested for all upcoming renewals
- Benchmark proprietary commercial fee schedules to National CMS by service category, review how relative payment levels vary by service type.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

- Pursuing a degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences or related field.
- This internship is from June to December and is 40 hours per week/or 20 hours per week depending on school schedule in a virtual setting
- Must be enrolled fulltime at an accredited college or university during internship
- Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
- Excel, Tableau, and SQL/SAS experience preferred but not required.
