Position Summary:
Set the strategic direction for a set of Kroger s integrated marketing campaigns, including guiding content creation through the creative brief document and process. Ensure each assigned campaign is grounded in consumer insights and achieves business objectives, including advancing the brand s equity in line with our overall brand strategy. Serve as key steward of our brand strategy and voice, driving consistency and connection across campaigns and creating brand relevance among core consumer targets. Lead the brief input and approval process for all assigned campaigns, effectively gathering relevant input and securing the appropriate approvals in a timely manner and leveraging the aligned brief to effectively direct creative executions, serving as the single point of contact for our Creative teams. Essential Job Functions:
- Lead the campaign strategy development process for your assigned campaigns, working collaboratively with Strategic Planning and business leadership to define and execute integrated campaigns that deliver against consumer needs and business metrics, including growing sales, brand equity, and return on ad spend
- Lead the campaign briefing process including engaging key stakeholders across the business and effectively balancing business and brand/consumer goals to create clear, compelling briefs that are based on insights/data Secure the necessary approvals in a timely and efficient manner
- Develop a strong, collaborative partnership between your team and our Creative partners to inspire strong creative executions and give clear direction and input on big idea concepts and specific marketing executions
- Lead campaign kick-off sessions and tabletop reviews to ensure Creative executions and content deliver effectively on the brief; lead the process of enrolling and gathering input from a group of multi-functional partners and gaining business leader/Marketing leader approval
- Partner with the 84.51 Marketing Analytics & Insights team to track campaign effectiveness; share insights across Brand Building to allow them to inform future campaigns
- Manage multiple, sometimes evolving, priorities while consistently delivering high quality work; work across lines of business/stakeholders with campaigns being assigned quarterly
- Oversee Kroger s brand, ensuring it is accurately portrayed and represented in all touchpoints internally and externally

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor s degree business, marketing, or an equivalent field of study
- 8 years of brand management experience in a CPG company, ad agency, or QSR/retailer with a proven track record of developing brand strategies that deliver business results and brand growth
- Experience guiding strategic Creative development and partnering well with agency teams to achieve business and consumer goals and objectives
- Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns that span channels and consumer targets, including working within personalized channels as part of a holistic plan (e.g. 1:1 offers, addressable tv/radio, etc.)
- Deep understanding of brand building fundamentals, including experience coaching/developing others in this space
