The Kenya-Trusant Group is hiring a Partnership Advisor to join our team to provide administrative and related institutional support services to the USAID Office of Acquisition and Assistance, M/OAA/Development, Democracy, and Innovation.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and capacity building among USAID and staff worldwide.
- Nurture relationships with both internal and external partners and stakeholders at all levels and support the design and/or facilitate events and learning opportunities for a globally dispersed community of practitioners and staff with varying levels of expertise.
- Strategize on how best to engage the private sector directly with the CoP as well as bring learnings, best practices, and priority topics from the private sector to USAID.
- Contribute to research on the needs of USAID staff in Washington and in the field, as well as other efforts to evolve the Agency s approach to Bureau/Division and position the Agency as a thought leader in this space.
- Be responsible for activities in the PACE (Partnering to Accelerate Entrepreneurship) portfolio to support accelerators, incubators, and other technical assistance providers to early-stage companies in the developing world.
- Support PACE grants and other entrepreneurship-focused initiatives, including liaising with grantees and gathering and compiling performance monitoring data on grants.
- Manage existing entrepreneurship-related research initiatives and plan additional research on impact investing and support of entrepreneurs.
- Become familiar with tools and techniques for creating individual private sector partnership activities and use those skills to build specific activities related to PACE, entrepreneurship, or impact investing.
- Must have current Secret clearance.
- Has three to ten years of experience and a B.A./B.S. or M.A./M.S. degree. Typically performs all functional duties independently.
