Our client is the growing marketing team of a software startup seeking a Content Writer for a remote full-time opportunity.
The Content Writer will:
- Develop content and write copy for a variety of print and web deliverables, including case studies, eBooks, blogs, product sheets, white papers, video scripts, press releases, social media posts, guides, webinar/virtual event presentations, podcasts, email campaigns, landing pages, etc.
- Partner with internal teams to concept and write content for lead generation and campaigns
- Collaborate with Content Marketing Strategy staff on creating and executing a content calendar
- Ensure messaging and brand are consistent alongside the Product Manager and Designers
- Define and manage the content distribution process and integrate repurposed content
- Interview SMEs (including C-level executives)
- Utilize platforms such as WordPress, LinkedIn Paid Ads, Marketo/Hubspot, etc. on a daily basis
The Content Writer must have:
- 2+ years of experience writing B2B content and developing copy for marketing/sales collateral, social media/websites, thought leadership, etc.
- Strong understanding of social media content writing, content distribution, marketing funnel stages, and SEO writing
- Experience identifying topics and interviewing SMEs
- Familiarity with using CMS and marketing automation tools
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in Marketing, Communications, or related
