Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, LCAS) - Contract Position (1099)
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate mental health therapist to join our private practice in New Bern, NC. This is an independent contractor (1099) role that offers a competitive split and there is no cap on earnings. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population of individuals, couples and families, and will play a vital role in helping to improve their mental health and well-being. This position provides the opportunity to see clients in person in your own private office at our facility and/or telehealth from your home or office.
This position includes office space, furnishings, and other related overhead. Other benefits include: Professional Development/CEU Reimbursement up to $250/yr, credentialing services, billing services, marketing, and referrals, complete flexibility in your schedule, work from home options and networking with other clinicians.
Candidate must fit in with our small but loving group, be licensed in North Carolina with respective licensing board ( LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist). The ideal candidate has advanced training/certification in trauma, addiction, couples therapy, or a related specialty.
Candidate will be expected to demonstrate initiative in networking and maintaining an agreed upon caseload. Clinician will prepare and maintain all required treatment records, notes and reports and ensure that all records meet health insurance standards. All records and information must maintain confidentiality relating to therapist-client relationship compliant with all federal HIPAA regulations.

Comfortable and beautiful furnished office located in ideal location.
Fully Licensed Clinicians only. Must be currently licensed in the state of NC with respective licensing board. ( LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist)
2+ years experience working with individuals and/or couples, children, adolescents and adults
Masters or PhD
Credentialed with BCBS and/or other insurance panels, if not we will get you credentialed within approximately 90 days
certification in trauma-focused modalities such as EMDR, BrainSpotting, etc., and/or couples/family such as Gottman
Preference will be given to specialized clinicians
Inner Source Therapy, PLLC is in network with major private and public insurances as well as EAP panels. (BCBS, United Behavioral Health, Medcost, Aetna, Cigna, Tricare, Humana, etc.) and also accepts private pay.
About the position: This is a 1099 Contract position and does not include benefits until fully staffed. You will have a flexible schedule with a minimum caseload of 20 per week - you make your own hours. There are also opportunities to work evenings and weekends if desired. You must have good computer & documentation skills. Will offer training if needed on documentation and software.
