CDM Smith is seeking to enhance our team to primarily support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), their districts, and their Field Operating Activities, especially, the Institute for Water Resources (IWR). Projects include conducting water resources planning, policy, and economic studies, and developing economic models to evaluate costs and benefits and assessment of economic feasibility of proposed improvements. Projects are located throughout the U.S. and its territories.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance or Business or related discipline.
- 7 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
- The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
- Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in economics, geography, planning, environmental science, water resources engineering or related discipline
- Experience in water resources planning and policy, regulatory guidance and support, coastal resilience and disaster recovery, ecosystem restoration, and/or environmental compliance.
- Previous experience with USACE to support national water planning and policy or other related federal agency program experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated Leadership abilities
