Job Description
Assist with participant recruitment in public and public-charter middle/intermediate schools in Hawai'i Island.
Assist with conducting focus groups and individual interview with middle/intermediate school students on Hawai'i Island.
Assist with administering surveys to middle/intermediate school students in Hawai'i Island.
Participate in qualitative and quantitative date management, including data entry and data transcription, verification, and coding.
Participate in dissemination of research findings through community presentations and peer-reviewed publications.
Assist in the development of prevention intervention components, including creating classroom-based lessons and culturally grounded videos.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate student in psychology or related discipline at a campus in the University of Hawaii System.
Physically located on Hawai'i Island.
Ability to work independently on research-related tasks with regular supervision.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through on assigned tasks.
Access to a vehicle and able to drive to geographically dispersed schools across Hawai'i Island.
