Licensed or Pre-Licensed Therapist Position in Alexandria, VA and Charlottesville, VA
Del Ray Psych & Wellness, LLC is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate clinician to join our thriving and expanding private practice. Del Ray Psych is located in the heart of Del Ray, Alexandria, a vibrant area filled with holistic health and wellness practitioners, and we are currently expanding our services to the Charlottesville area. We are a multidisciplinary practice that provides therapy, assessment, coaching, yoga, reiki, and workshops for adults and couples. We provide an integrative approach to therapy to address an individual’s mind, body, and spirit with modalities such as Mindfulness, CBT, Positive Psychology, Energy Psychology, Gestalt Techniques, EFT, EMDR, hypnosis, and IFS. Our mission is to empower individuals to live more authentically, easily, and joyfully. We are also passionate about community wellness and are active in the greater wellness community.
Del Ray Psych & Wellness, LLC, is seeking 2 full time Psychotherapist or post-doctoral associate to work in a private practice setting in Alexandria or Charlottesville, VA. This will be a hybrid position consisting of telehealth and in person services. The clinician would be responsible for seeing an average of 22-25 clients per week and would be required to attend weekly individual supervision and bimonthly group supervision. The candidate must have a strong psychotherapy background with adults in a variety of approaches and some experience with mind/body theories and treatments. An interest in mindfulness is preferred. Opportunity for some assessment is also available. The clinician must be comfortable working with diverse populations, multicultural issues, and LGBTQ concerns. The associate will be compensated a percentage of the hourly fees collected under the supervising psychologist’s license. The position is for 1 year and commences on September 1st, 2021.
