Our Earth & Environment Strategic Growth Team is seeking a Fall 2022 Marketing Proposal Intern to work out of our Tampa, FL office or any US city where we have an office.This position is a hybrid model of at home/remote work and in-office work as needed for production of marketing materials.

Your Impact

This position performs these key functions for our proposal team:
  • Supporting Marketing Coordinators in the creation and production of proposal documents to win new work for the company, including:
    • Proofreading.
    • Formatting documents in MS Word and Adobe InDesign.
    • Collaborating with both marketing and technical practitioners to seek/identify information needed in a proposal response.
    • Producing hard-copy proposals and other pieces of marketing collateral.
    • Editing existing marketing content.
    • Creating and editing resumes for environmental scientists, engineers, and other technical practitioners.
    • Create and edit PowerPoint presentations.
  • Complete training on assigned tasks.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited Business Administration, Journalism, Communications, or related Undergraduate program.
  • Demonstrated interest in Business Administration, Journalism, Communications, or related field and have a strong desire to advance skills related to WSP s work and projects.
  • Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
  • Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to executive projects.
  • Ability to create PowerPoint presentations.
  • Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
  • Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to format documents in both InDesign and MS Word.
  • Prior internship and leadership involvement on campus.

Expected Salary: $34,700 - $65,400
