Job Profile
The Revenue Management Team at Vista Global works closely with Product and Business Stakeholders. We take ownership of analyzing Supply & Demand signals to build and update Pricing Models in such a way that it optimizes Yield and Network Efficiency.
Drawing insights from data to make suggestions, and suggesting strategies for improvements, this role will work closely with the Product, Technology, Data Scientists, and Sales teams. Salary range is $130K to $150K per Annum
Your Responsibilities
- Partner with Product & Data Science to build and update machine learning pricing models, that scale with our fleet and optimizes Yield and Network Efficiency
- Document all pricing models and changes introduced along the way, partnering with Product, Data Science & Tech to educate the entire business about how our pricing model works
- Partner with Business Intelligence Team to build Reports that increases transparency of the efficiency of our pricing models and health of the network
- Analysis, manipulation and interpretation of data to support informed business decisions
- Prepare reports detailing sales data, market trends and forecasted revenue
- Identify and resolve issues that affect company revenue through increasing sales or reduce costs to improve financial health
- Strong industry knowledge, with a thorough understanding of the aviation (preferably business aviation) market and its conditions, the competition and industry trends
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities and optimize pricing strategies
- Monitor competitor pricing and adjust strategies accordingly
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock turnover and profitability
- Evaluate customer feedback and make recommendations for improvements to products or services
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Masters or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics or in a related engineering/science field
- 5-7 years experience in revenue management, pricing, or a related field
- Experience in the airline/aviation industry
- Experience with pricing/yield management systems
- Experience with data analysis and statistical modeling
- Strong Excel skills and mathematical modeling skills
- Experience with SQL
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of achieving results
