WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
It’s no secret that healthcare in today’s world requires lots of digital documentation. At Franciscan our Informatics Tech is responsible for providing front line customer support to facilitate adoption, support quality of care and increase efficiency with providers and staff related to Electronic Health Record (EHR) This role will assist with onboarding new providers and staff onto EHR. They serve as a liaison between practices and Information Services Applications teams to better understand the technical and clinical requirements for the EHR and improve EHR efficiencies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Provide front line support in the use of the clinical documentation system
Prioritize feature adoption by the provider and the clinician to enhance workflow efficiency and promote satisfaction
Partner with clinical management and ACO to support system initiatives related to documentation compliance
Triage system issues escalates to appropriate IS teams for resolution
Assist with the optimization of the system in the provider practice environment to support quality of care and efficiency
Partner with the technology teams, healthcare consumer, healthcare team, and others to implement new initiatives on time, within budget, and within plan requirements
Foster organizational culture that supports the strategic and operational goals of the organization
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
Associate Degree Healthcare related field or Medical Assistant Certification in lieu of degree.
Prior experience in EHR
Knowledge of professional regulation and facility/program accreditation requirements.
Terminology used in diagnosis and classification of illnesses, injuries, and disabilities.
Customer service skills.
Clear understanding of the workflow within a variety of clinical care environments.
Understanding of types of health information and the rules and regulations surrounding their use.
Effectively communicate in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
