Positions in this function are responsible for providing clinical advice and education to patients via telephonic means. Offers intervention, counseling and support services which require clinical knowledge, judgment and nursing skill based upon principles of psychological, biological, physical and social sciences.
Provides quality patient care by assuring a smooth workflow within the department and acts as liaison between the patient and other departments.
Serves as a clinical and educational resource to other departments and health care practitioners. Supports current and future clinical endeavors for Patient Services Support Center by performing the following duties.
Must be available to work an 8-hour shift between the hours of : 9 : 30 am - 6 pm PST / 11 : 30 am - 8 pm CST

Required Qualifications :
- Current, unrestricted RN, eNLC, multistate compact license
- Ability to obtain RN licensure in other states and / or US territories, as required
- 2+ years of direct patient care as an RN
- MS Office proficiency (Word, Teams, Outlook)
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift between the hours of : 9 : 30 am 6 pm PST / 11 : 30 am - 8 pm CST
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements.

Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current, unrestricted California RN license
- Call Center experience

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only : The salary range for Colorado residents is $54,400 to $97,000. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $60,000 to $106,700.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
