  • The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks for the office and the Economist team.
  • This position will support department managers with various administrative tasks including but not limited to email prioritization and communication, scheduling of meetings, follow-up with team members about client related matters, meeting prep, and other duties as assigned.
  • Duties/Responsibilities: Coordinates and schedules meetings for managers or supervisors.
  • Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
  • Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings.
  • Work effectively in a cross-functional team Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Qualifications: Education: AS degree or higher preferred Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with proven problem-solving abilities Experienced, take charge professional with ability to manage complicated administration and logistics in a busy enviro Ability to quickly think of solutions to unexpected issues and to think outside the box.
  • Proven relationship-building skills.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in administrative tasks
