Job Title: Graphic Designer Pay Rate: $39.29/hour Duration: 6 Months Location Santa Ana, CA Job Summary: Please submit samples of the candidates previous work in same document as resume Please focus on the Design aspect. Manager is really looking for a skilled designer, with experience in instructional design. Build commercial quality learning content using industry accepted instructional design processes (ADDIE, ARCS, Bloom's etc.) Ability to create original graphics/artwork using Adobe Creative Suite Determine the most appropriate and effective learning methods for audience Work subject matter experts, stakeholder, business sponsors and students to ensure learning objectives are met Present complex information using instructionally effective methods Ability to assess training effectiveness and recommend adjustments Job Description:- Develop commercial quality learning content using industry accepted instructional design processes- Prescribe recommended learning solutions- Determine the most appropriate and effective learning methods for the audience- Recommend training methods- Ability to work in fast-paced environment- Work with subject matter experts, stakeholder, to ensure learning objectives are met- Present complex information using instructionally effective methods- Analyze/assess training effectiveness and recommend adjustments- Ability to create simulation training using Captivate or other Adobe tool(s)- Supervision Received or Extended- Works independently with supervisory consultation Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. Required Skills/Qualifications:- Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used- Proficient in graphic/user interface/interactive design- Strong knowledge of multiple applications such as:- Adobe Creative Suite (AfterEffects, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge, Premiere, PhotoShop, etc.)- Articulate 360 (Storyline 360, Rise, Studio 360, Replay, etc.)- Snagit 2018 or greater- Camtasia 2018 or greater- Audacity or other audio-editing software- Microsoft Office Applications- Online graphic design applications, such as Venngage, Canva, etc.- HTML, ActionSript or application/gaming design a plus- Excellent written and verbal communication skills Education and Experience Bachelor's degree Instructional Design, Business, Communications, Psychology, or Organizational Development 5-8 years experience designing training for adult audiences in a professional environment License or Certification Instructional design certificate from an industry recognized organization (ASTD, eLearning Guild, Langevin, etc.)
