Key Responsibilities
• Respond to maintenance service requests across multiple apartment communities throughout San Francisco
• Troubleshoot and repair residential heating systems including:
• * Top-vent wall heaters
• Standing gas heaters
• Radiator and hydronic systems
• Electric and baseboard heaters
• Perform plumbing repairs including:
• * Fixture replacements
• Water heater troubleshooting and repairs
• Piping and radiator system diagnostics
• Complete electrical repairs such as:
• * Installing fixtures
• Replacing switches, breakers, and receptacles
• Servicing electrical wall heaters and timers
• Repair and install drywall, cabinetry, countertops, and interior finishes
• Perform painting and surface preparation (interior/exterior)
• Install and repair flooring including LVP, tile, and wood
• Move, install, and service household appliances
• Perform general groundskeeping and exterior maintenance tasks
• Maintain clean and safe work areas at all job sites
• Document work orders and communicate updates with residents and team members
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in multifamily maintenance or residential property maintenance
• Strong working knowledge across multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, appliances)
• Experience troubleshooting residential heating systems preferred
• Ability to work independently across multiple job locations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Proficiency using standard hand and power tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable using work order systems and maintenance software
• Ability to prioritize tasks across multiple active projects
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Problem-solving mindset with sound decision-making ability
• Team-oriented with a proactive work ethic
