RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Registered Nurse, you will:
• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
• Deliver direct and indirect patient care to emergency department patients
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
• Create and maintain a safe and therapeutic care environment
• Supervise and support other assigned care team members
• Ensure care delivery aligns with unit standards and Methodist Health System policies
QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Current Texas RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program
PREFERRED
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Emergency department experience
