Position: Cashier/Food Runner
We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier/Food Runner to join the front-of-house team at Pummarola. You will be the first and last impression for many of our guests—welcoming them with a smile, taking accurate orders, and ensuring a smooth, efficient service experience. Whether it’s ringing up a rush of dinner orders or recommending a favorite pizza to a new customer, you’ll help keep our service fast, friendly, and on point. You will serve beverages, such as coffee and soda, answer the store phone, and hand takeout and delivery orders to guests and delivery drivers. You will work side-by-side with fellow team members to ensure that operations are running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
• Greet customers and take orders with speed and accuracy
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, credit, and digital payments
• Assist guests with menu questions and recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter and dining area
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order flow
• Package orders for takeout and delivery as needed
• Provide excellent service with a positive and professional attitude
• Restock utensils, napkins, drinks, and other front-of-house items
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a customer service or cashier role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Bilingual (Spanish or Italian) is a plus
