Responsibilities

The role of the Clinical Nurse (CN) is to deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs with the highest professional standard while promoting nursing excellence through continued education and research.

Qualifications

Education & Experience
• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
• Consistent demonstration of competent clinical nursing practice proficiency required
• Must have at least 1+yrs. acute care RN experience

Licenses and Certifications
• RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
