Job Title: Picking and Packing Clerk

Location: Chatsworth, CA

Job Type: Full-time, 7am- 4pm Monday-Friday

Pay rate: $18- 20/hr

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Picking and Packing Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in data entry, office support, and cross-department collaboration, helping to ensure smooth operations throughout the company

Responsibilities:
• Perform daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, packing, unpacking, and verifying materials and equipment.
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, proper labeling, and safe handling.
• Track, count, and organize inventory; maintain accurate records using internal systems.
• Assist drivers with load-outs, coordinate deliveries/pickups, and be a back-up driver as needed.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts, scales) safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.
• Support quality control by checking shipments and materials for accuracy or damage.
• Collaborate with lab staff to stage equipment, move materials, and support calibration workflow.

Requirements and Skills:
• 3+ years of continuous warehouse experience shipping and receiving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) with a typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to meet deadlines effectively.
• Holds a valid driver’s license and has a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required.
