Job Description

-time contractor to support both client work and day-to-day operations.

THE ROLE

This is a paid, independent contractor role designed for someone who enjoys a mix of administrative support and client-facing work. It’s a strong fit for someone early in their career who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in gaining experience across multiple industries while working inside a growing consulting practice.

The Client Support & Administrative Assistant will help keep both internal operations and client projects running smoothly. This role focuses on executing tasks, maintaining organization, and supporting deliverables under my direction. You’ll often be given an outcome or objective and expected to organize, manage, and complete the work with minimal oversight.

Work will vary based on client needs and business operations. On the client side, this may include drafting newsletters and written content, assisting with marketing plans, conducting market research, making light website updates (Wix or similar platforms), formatting deliverables, and supporting ongoing client communication and check-ins. On the administrative side, work may include CRM updates, inbox and file organization, scheduling, follow-ups, and coordinating business materials such as business cards or name tags.

Some tasks may require occasional in-person support locally (such as organizing materials or assisting with client needs), but the majority of work is remote and execution-focused.

This role offers flexible, part-time work as an independent contractor, typically around 10–15 hours per week depending on workload and availability. There is opportunity for increased responsibility and hours over time as the business continues to grow.

In return, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting real client projects, exposure to small business operations, and insight into how consulting work is structured and delivered. You’ll receive clear direction, feedback, and ongoing communication, and you’ll work closely with me throughout your time in this role.

COMPENSATION

Compensation for this role typically ranges from $16–$18 per hour depending on experience. Hours will vary based on workload and client demand, with most weeks averaging between 10–15 hours.

Select candidates may be asked to complete a short, paid skills test that reflects real tasks from this role. Candidates who successfully complete the test may be onboarded as independent contractors.

If you’re interested in flexible, meaningful work within a growing consulting practice and enjoy keeping things organized while supporting client projects, I’d love to hear from you!
