Location: Kent WA
Salary: $67k-$73k DOE + full benefits including medical, PTO, 401k and more
Schedule: Flexible start (7–9 AM – 8 hours M-F)

About the role
Operations & HR Support
· Maintain office policies, procedures, and compliance standards
· Support onboarding and employee administration
· Ensure compliance with employment regulations
· Administer benefits with external partners
· Support employee engagement and enforce company policies
Payroll & Records
· Process payroll and track attendance/PTO
· Maintain accurate employee records
Administrative Support
· Manage correspondence, calendars, and filing systems
· Coordinate meetings, travel, and company events
Facilities & Inventory
· Oversee office maintenance, vendors, and security
· Manage supplies, equipment, and inventory
Financial & Compliance
· Manage office budget and petty cash
· Support reporting and ensure timely tax remittance
The Environment
· Small, tight-knit team (14 employees + 20–25 independent drivers)
· Fast-paced transportation setting (something’s always moving)
· Direct access to leadership
· “Family-style” culture
About you
·
· 3+ years of experience in office management and HR (preferably within transportation industry)
· Comfortable with ADP, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks (Enterprise is a plus)
· Highly organized, self-directed, and accountable
· Strong problem-solving skills you don’t wait, you act
· Team-first mindset with a “jump in where needed” attitude

- • This is a hands on, high impact role involving HR, payroll, and daily office operations while working directly with the President
