Job Description

 Adjustment Vouchers for Credit Card Transactions
• Payroll Management: Generate monthly pay sheet in addition to process wages / salaries in CSF
• Accounting: Record income and expenditure in the Cash Book
• Reconciliations: Reconcile the Cash Book and Bank Statements
• Reporting: Assist the Accountant with balancing accounts in addition to the preparation of month-end reports for submission to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Barbados
• Social Security Administration: Oversee the National Insurance Account
• Any other duties that may be assigned

​Qualifications:
• Diploma or Certificate in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration OR related field
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Computer Skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• Ability to Meet Short Deadlines and Detail-Oriented
• Legal Right to work in the United States
• Written and Verbal Communication in English

Compensation:
Applicants will be offered USD $37,523.16 per annum. FULL Health, Dental and Vision Insurance in addition to Paid Sick Leave and Paid Vacation Leave on successful completion of probation.

Hours of Duty: 09:00 to 17:00 hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) Monday to Friday.

  • Financial Processing: Prepare and process payment vouchers in CloudSuite Financial and Supplies Management System (CSF) on behalf of the Consulate and other Embassies
  • Credit Card Reconciliation: Prepare and process monthly Adjustment Vouchers for Credit Card Transactions
  • Payroll Management: Generate monthly pay sheet in addition to process wages / salaries in CSF
  • Accounting: Record income and expenditure in the Cash Book
  • Reconciliations: Reconcile the Cash Book and Bank Statements
  • Reporting: Assist the Accountant with balancing accounts in addition to the preparation of month-end reports for submission to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Barbados
