Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Box Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
This positions requires driver to be on the road for a minimum of 3 weeks.
Responsibilities
• Operate a box truck to deliver goods to customers in a timely manner.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Ensure the safe operation of the vehicle, including performing routine inspections and maintenance checks.
• Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
• Assist in training new drivers on company policies and procedures when necessary.
Skills
• Experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is a plus.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks safely.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience with load unloading procedures and best practices.
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
