Contract Pilot Car Driver (1099 Independent Contractor)CKD Trans LLC – Dallas/Fort Worth, TX
CKD Trans LLC is seeking experienced Pilot Car Drivers to join our growing team. We support oversized, heavy haul, wind energy, and oilfield transportation projects throughout Texas and across the United States.
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. Drivers must provide their own escort vehicle and be prepared to travel for assignments that may last several days or multiple weeks at a time.
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of pilot car or escort vehicle experience
• Current WITPAC Certification (required)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Reliable escort vehicle that meets state escort requirements
• Working communication equipment (cell phone and two-way radio preferred)
• Ability to travel throughout Texas and nationwide
• Professional attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and represent CKD Trans LLC professionally
Preferred Experience
• Oversized load escort experience
• Wind energy component moves
• Oilfield equipment transportation
• Heavy haul and superload escorts
• Lead and/or chase vehicle experience
