Position Summary

The Assistant General Manager is a key member of the leadership team and partners closely with the General Manager to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations. This role is responsible for leading front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring operational excellence, driving profitability, and creating an exceptional guest and employee experience.

Responsibilities Of An Assistant General Manager
• Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellence in service, food quality, and cleanliness
• Lead, coach, and develop management and hourly team members
• Drive guest satisfaction and resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Monitor labor, sales, and controllable costs to achieve financial goals
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management initiatives
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Assist with scheduling, inventory controls, and operational planning
• Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on accountability and teamwork
• Partner with the General Manager to execute business strategies and achieve operational objectives
• Lead shifts and provide hands-on support during peak business periods
