• Possess a clear testimony of salvation and mature biblical knowledge.
• Provide references that attest to a Christ-like and biblical-directed lifestyle.
• Affirm LCC Doctrinal Statement.
• Attend a local evangelical church.
• Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in education.
• Hold to belief in a literal 6-day Creation as taught in Genesis 1.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities
• Represent school in a professional and biblical manner in all aspects and areas of life.
• Implement LCS instructional objectives.
• Maintain student gradebooks, records, and curriculum maps within required timeframes.
• Prepare and submit weekly lesson plans by deadline.
• Attend and participate in all faculty meetings.
• Participate in other areas of LCC/LCS ministry outside of the classroom.
• Communicate with peers, parents, and students in a Christ-like manner.
• Comply with School Policies and Procedures.
• Effectivly utilizes all instructional technology.
• Demonstrate Biblical knowledge and a Christian Worldview that is integrated into everyday instruction.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Abide by ethics statutes, school board policies and regulations.
• Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Implement school-wide behavior management plan.
• Serve on committees as assigned.
• Remain current on instructional practices in education. (e.g. instructional technology)
• As assigned by ministry.

Qualifications

  • Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in education
