Job Description

• Perform patient intake; vital signs, medical history, and medication review
• Assist physicians in the exam room during physicals and procedures
• Record patient charts in the management system in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
Minimum Requirements:
• A certification/registration from an accredited program for medical assistants (CCMA, CMA, RMA, or ABR-OE)& or& a minimum of two years working as a medical assistant and the ability to get certified/credentialed within six months of employment
• Great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately
• Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with providers, staff, and patients
• Knowledge of phlebotomy, patient intake, and common medications
• One year of medical assisting experience or a combination of medical education and work experience
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire& & & & & & & &
• Regular and reliable attendance is required
