Job Description

• Take and record patient statistics before and after treatment.
• Initiate and monitor treatments, and collect blood samples as per physician's orders.
Technician Duties
• Prioritize quality by preparing machines for hemodialysis and disinfecting them post-treatment.
• Conduct safety checks, log results, and ensure compliance with all relevant protocols and regulations.
Safety and Quality
• Use necessary safety precautions, including personal protective gear.
• Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and relevant legal regulations, assisted by a Charge Nurse.
• Attend all required meetings and engage in continuing education opportunities.
What We're Looking For
• Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work in healthcare and support patient care.
• Prior experience in healthcare roles, such as dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a certified nursing assistant, is advantageous.
• Comfort in mixing acids and bicarbonate according to established protocols.
• Ability to discern all primary colors.
Other Requirements
• Completion of an approved training program within 8 weeks of hiring, demonstrating proficiency in hemodialysis.
• CPR certification within 90 days of employment, as specified.
• Obtain and maintain a Patient Care Technician certification through either state or a recognized national certification program within 18 months from your start date, adhering to specific state regulations.

Responsibilities
- • As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will play a crucial role within a multidisciplinary team, providing care and assisting in treatments for patients
