Worth and Houston areas, this role is integral to supporting that growth while ensuring patients receive exceptional care and navigation during the InterStim trial period.
This position blends patient support with a strong relationship-driven approach, making it a great fit for individuals with a background in medical sales or clinical environments who enjoy educating, guiding, and building trust with patients throughout their healthcare journey.
Key Responsibilities:
· Act as primary point of contact for all InterStim trial patients, ensuring every interaction is meaningful, supportive, and relationship-focused.
· Provide phone and in-clinic support, with a willingness to make house calls when necessary.
· Educate and guide patients through therapy expectations and adjustments, serving as a liaison between the patient and their treatment plan.
· Build trust and rapport with patients throughout the trial process, reinforcing confidence in their care and overall experience.
· Manage interactions with patients during the trial stage of their therapeutic journey, promptly resolving questions and concerns via phone, text, or email.
· Maintain a comprehensive method of tracking patient success and progress in their therapy.
· Uphold patient confidentiality and rights, ensuring all interactions adhere to BBI’s quality standards.
· Address patient concerns with empathy, escalate issues as necessary, and actively work to retain and support our patient base.
· Maintain a warm, confident, and professional presence during all patient interactions.
· Act as a knowledgeable resource for all patient inquiries, answering both clinical and non-clinical questions and guiding patients to appropriate resources within BBI.
· Document all patient interactions with diligence, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and patient protection regulations (HIPAA).
· Cultivate positive working relationships with patients, their families, care teams, and fellow team members at BBI.
· Educate patients on BBI’s healthcare programs, eligibility requirements, and benefits.
· Conduct data entry tasks, maintain accurate patient records, and handle medication and health-related information with care.
· Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of all therapies and services offered by BBI.
· Deliver tailored patient education based on individual needs.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by BBI management.
Qualifications:
· 2+ years of medical sales, clinical, or patient-facing healthcare experience preferred
· Experience in medical device, surgical, or procedure-based environments is a strong plus
· Operating room experience preferred
· APN, RN, or LPN with prior patient experience preferred
· Strong ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and guide individuals through decision-making processes
· Demonstrate a patient-focused mentality while also being confident, proactive, and solution-oriented
· Excellent prioritization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple patient interactions simultaneously
· Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
· Proficient with basic computer systems and documentation tools
· Exceptional communication, phone etiquette, and interpersonal skills
