Job Description
rklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment to ensure safe operations
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed
Experience
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and procedures
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations regarding warehouse operations
- Experience with reach trucks, Hi-Lo, and other types of forklifts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and repair is a plus
- Experience in shipping and receiving within a distribution center setting is beneficial
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $18.27 per hour
