Job Summary
• Owner Operator
• Dry Van
• OTR
• $2,000 - $3,500 gross total weekly avg. pay. Paid weekly.
• 2,800 - 3,500 avg. miles per week
• 1% Driver Load/Unload
Home Time
• 7 - 14 expected days out
• You can stay out longer if you want to
• Home at least 2 weekends per month
Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
• Loading and unloading cargo while operating cargo handling equipment.
• Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
• Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.
• Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
• Stacking and sorting delivered cargo.
• Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
Equipment Requirements
• Max truck age: No policy
• No overdimensional trucks allowed
Hiring Requirements
• Class A license without (K) Intrastate Only restriction
• 2 years OTR experience

Responsibilities

  • Long-distance driving
  • Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers
  • Obeying and following applicable traffic laws
  • Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle
  • Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving
