Responsibilities
• Physically build and construct all types of exterior and interior work; carpentry a must!
• Lead and supervise construction teams to execute project plans efficiently and safely
• Coordinate daily activities on-site, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task delegation
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align project goals and resolve challenges
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, safety incidents, and project milestones
• Oversee the use of tools and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and safety compliance
Skills
• Proven experience as a construction technician or lead with a strong understanding of construction processes
• Power tools awareness and understanding; operate and maintain power tools
• Measure accurately and precision cuts.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols, OSHA standards, and building codes
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and vendors
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to resolving on-site issues
