Job Description
computers, camera systems and other related software and hardware
• Assists users with software, hardware, and networking needs
• Assists in maintaining software, hardware, and networking equipment
• Helps the IT department prepare for and support the annual LA County Fair by completing assigned tasks or projects
• Other duties as assigned
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
• Must have general hardware and software experience and a working knowledge of networking concepts and equipment
• Must have analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Must have excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with limited supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft products, TCP/IP and networking protocols a major plus
• Requires organizational skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions, such as heat and cold
• Must be able to move around Fairplex grounds
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders

Responsibilities
- • The IT Support role works under the direct supervision of the department Director and/or permanent IT staff to help install, setup, and test hardware and software needed to support the staff, vendors, and visitors to the LA County Fair
- • Other work may be assigned to assist the IT department as needed
- • Assists with setup and deployment of network equipment, computers, camera systems and other related software and hardware
- • Assists users with software, hardware, and networking needs
- • Assists in maintaining software, hardware, and networking equipment
