The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting independence, safety, and well-being through personalized care and support. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in implementing care plans, assisting with activities of daily living, and creating a positive environment for residents.

Requirements
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Be able to pass a background check & drug screening
• Must be able to communicate effectively (verbally and written) with co-workers, families, guardians, consultants and vendors

Duties
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Support residents during meal preparation, cooking, and feeding to promote nutritional health.
• Maintain cleanliness of the living environment through regular cleaning and sanitation practices.
• Engage residents in social activities, community outings, and therapeutic programs to foster social integration and mental well-being.

Qualifications
• Ability to work in home-like settings
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) with co-workers, families, guardians, consultants and vendors
• Management of the home schedule and operations to ensure resident assigned goals, schedules, data and cleaning duties are completed
• Ability to demonstrate competence in problem solving, taking initiative, resident rights, quality, organization and teamwork
• Ensure client safety and maintain a safe home environment
• Ability to cook and/or follow specific guidelines for resident meal preparation

Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
