Job Description
ast, plan, and drive projects proactively, not reactively.
What You’ll Do

• Collaborate closely with our design team to ensure design intent is translated accurately into the build process
• Define project scope, milestones, budgets, and timelines
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules using BuilderTrend
• Build project schedules in advance, anticipating sequencing, trade coordination, inspections, and long-lead items, not just reacting to what’s happening in the field
• Lead and develop field teams, fostering clear communication and strong job site culture
• Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and implement solutions before they impact timeline or budget
• Manage change orders, project adjustments, and client communication with clarity and professionalism
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, ensuring they feel informed, confident, and supported throughout the process
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members to ensure seamless execution
• Conduct project closeouts and post-project evaluations to continuously improve systems and outcomes
Financial Oversight & Forecasting
• Participate in weekly job forecasting meetings with the bookkeeper/finance team
• Maintain a real-time understanding of each project’s financial position, including committed costs, remaining budget, and cost-to-complete
• Forecast project timelines and cash flow with accuracy, ensuring alignment between schedule and billing
• Identify budget risks before they become overruns, and implement solutions early
• Track and manage job costs, allowances, and change orders to protect profitability
• Ensure project schedules, draw schedules, and job costing are aligned
What Sets You Apart
• You understand that this role is not just about building projects, it’s about guiding clients through one of the most personal investments of their lives
• You are both operationally strong and financially fluent. You know your numbers as well as your job sites
• You don’t wait for accounting to tell you where a job stands, you already know
• You think ahead, plan proactively, and anticipate problems before they happen
• You can confidently manage high-value projects (typically $200,000+) without losing attention to detail
• You hold a high standard for craftsmanship and job site execution
• You communicate clearly, professionally, and with emotional intelligence
• You are calm under pressure and capable of navigating complex project challenges
Experience & Qualifications
