Job Description

• Answers phone calls promptly (within 2 rings).
• Handles customer interactions promptly and professionally.
• Follows through with customer problems and complaints to resolution.
• Updates customer accounts with current deliveries, order changes, payments and appropriate credit.
• Compares data from route books to that in the Delivery Management System, researches discrepancies and makes needed corrections.
• Generates and mails customer invoices monthly.
• Prepares and balances deposits daily.
• Maintains database and spread sheet files.
• Performs clerical duties as required including filing, photocopying and mail processing.
• Initiates customer contact when needed to insure accurate billing and delivery.
• Prepares monthly invoices for drivers to deliver.
• Emails and mails invoices to those specified.
• Handles all data entry records into the customer service spreadsheet to accurately track issues.
• Inputs new customers to start service.
• Makes phone contact with new customers to ensure delivery was made to satisfaction and answers any questions.
• Runs monthly automatic including credit cards and ACH.
• Maintains expired and declined credit cards with a phone call and letter.
• Maintains collections and aging in designated routes.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Greets incoming applicants, customers, and vendors.
• Initial screening of applicants and ensure paperwork is complete.
• Track shipments that come in and go out.
• Schedule appointments, interviews for managers.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This is an interior, office location.
