Job Description

nsible for transporting products—including Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) such as lithium batteries and hand sanitizer—between Hit facilities and other destinations. You will operate a 26-foot straight truck and play an essential role in maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and safety across all transport operations.

Applicants must currently hold a valid HAZMAT endorsement to be considered.

This is a 2nd shift position, 330PM-12AM.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate with Distribution leadership and personnel to facilitate product movement.
• Safely operate up to a 26-foot straight truck while adhering to all DOT and FMCSA safety regulations.
• Complete all required warehouse and delivery paperwork accurately.
• Maintain delivery schedules and meet on-time performance goals.
• Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and in top operating condition.
• Communicate with Distribution Center and Fleet Management for maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.

Requirements
• Completion of the Hit Driving Certification Course.
• Current Florida CDL-B or CDL-C license with Hazardous Materials Endorsement (required).
• Minimum 3 years of safe commercial driving experience operating a comparable vehicle.
• Must meet all FMCSA and DOT regulations.
• Valid DOT medical exam card (or ability to obtain one).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and approval by Hit’s insurance carrier.
• Must pass a post-offer drug test, criminal background check, and FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse screening.
• Proficiency with handheld devices and basic Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly for communication and compliance.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures (hot/cold).

Physical Demands
• Sitting or standing for long periods.
• Frequent entering and exiting of the truck.
• Regular bending, stooping, and lifting while loading or unloading materials.
