Job Description

• Communicates with Laundry manager to delivery routes and times and follows them without fail
• Makes routine maintenance checks on trucks and related equipment to ensure that they are in full working order
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and surrounding areas
• Bi-lingual language skills
Supportive Functions:
• * When instructed, stage soiled laundry for weighmasters according to account
• From time to time assist Laundry Manager when instructed
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Bi-lingual language skills for completion of receiving and shipping documents
• Basic mathematical skills (addition and subtraction) necessary to record counts
• Ability to safely operate freight elevator and truck lifts
• Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand verbal instructions and communicate with clients
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, carry, push, or pull heavy loads and stand for long periods of time. May require lifting bundles weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to push and/or pull wheeled carts weighing up to 800 lbs.
• Ability to load and unload a tractor -trailer and secure its contents
• Non CDL position
• A valid Class C Commercial driver's license (not necessary, but it would be helpful) and a clean driving record
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and ability.
• Previous experience in driving Laundry/Valet a plus
• Understanding of English and Spanish language, both written and verbal.

- • Loads and unloads laundry carts from the tractor trailer equipment both on and off-site in accordance with the policies and rules for each account
- • Marks in clear English any soiled linen or laundry that is received by any customers
- • Ensure that the laundry is properly stored and secured by account to eliminate and damage to any materials transported
