Job Description
you will oversee all aspects of construction operations, from planning and scheduling to quality control and client communication, delivering exceptional results that exceed expectations.
Duties
• Oversee all phases of high-end residential construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain seamless workflow and adherence to project specifications.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or ProCore to track progress and milestones.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate implementation of design intent.
• Enforce strict safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards, conducting regular site inspections and safety meetings.
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout the project lifecycle to uphold craftsmanship standards and resolve issues promptly.
• Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and daily logs using Bluebeam or similar tools.
• Monitor project budgets, perform cost tracking, and collaborate with estimators on construction estimating processes like HeavyBid or Primavera P6.
• Ensure proper use of measurement tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when necessary.
• Lead problem-solving efforts on-site by analyzing schematics, managing project risks, and implementing effective solutions.
Skills
• Proven management experience supervising high-end residential construction projects with a focus on quality and detail.
• Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and Primavera.
• Extensive experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for residential projects.
• Familiarity with construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid and pipeline management techniques.
• Deep understanding of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for construction site safety.
• Excellent project scheduling skills with the ability to coordinate multiple trades efficiently.
• Effective supervision skills with a track record of leading diverse teams toward shared goals.
• Skilled in contracts administration, budgeting, and managing change orders to keep projects on track financially.
• Ability to utilize measurement tools like ohmmeters for electrical systems testing when required.
