• Distribute and cleanup of power & hand tools, extension cords, generators, etc.
• Dewatering activities and set up water pumps and hoses.
• Manual moving of formwork, lumber, rebar, and materials.
• Place concrete to/from a truck, pump, bucket, buggy, conveyor, etc.
• Hand excavation and backfill, and hand grade sub-base.
• Load and unload equipment and materials from trucks and trailers.
• Concrete tasks: rake, screed concrete, vibrate, and place concrete blankets.
• Use of demolition during various tasks: jackhammer, air tools, sledgehammer, cut-off saw, etc.
• Follow instructions and comprehend construction needs.
• Adheres to procedures, regulations, and guidelines while minimizing errors and safety risks.
• Regular attendance is required according to company policy to ensure the crew can operate at the normal efficiency level.
• Performs other duties of a similar or related nature as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Basic use and knowledge of operating common hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in construction.
• Able to work a flexible schedule with last-minute schedule, location, time of shift change (day & night), and overtime work as needed.
• Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
Education and Experience:
• High School or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum two (2) years’ field experience in the construction industry.
• Valid Driver’s License with clear MVR (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
• Frequent walking on uneven surfaces, including ground in varying weather conditions.
• Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the outdoor elements.
• Able to work in confined spaces.
• May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, twist, climb, and balance repeatedly or continually throughout shift.
• Regularly works in an outdoor environment near heavy equipment, power tools, and moving machinery in the surrounding area.
• Able to push/pull 80+ lbs.
• Able to lift/carry 80+ lbs.
• Able to wear personal protective equipment is required, including but not limited to steel-toe shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, vest, etc.

This position may require the use of personal and/or company vehicles on company business.
