Duties
• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to meet their needs effectively
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, enhancing their shopping experience
• Assist with merchandising by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are well-presented
• Handle cashing out customers accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures
• Support upselling efforts by recommending additional products that complement customer purchases
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization by stocking shelves regularly and managing inventory levels
Requirements
• Prior retail sales or grocery store experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math for pricing and discounts
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership potential in team settings
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, lifting merchandise, and standing for extended periods
• Knowledge of POS systems and cashiering procedures to ensure smooth checkout processes
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers
Pay: $14.00 per hour
