Job Description

8 through July 31, 2026. Hours are from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

The program will take place at Wes Crile Park. Must be at least 18 years of age.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Not all-inclusive):
• Communicate in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner with participants, staff, and parents.
• Deal effectively with conflict resolution; solve problems in stressful situations.
• Ensure the safety of all participants
• Prepare lesson plans and lead activities for children ages 5-12.
• Actively participate in and supervise all camp activities, field trips, and swimming.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School diploma/GED equivalent.
• Experience supervising and leading youth activities; previous experience with children ages 5-12 in a recreation, school, or faith-based organization.
• Physical ability to instruct, supervise or lead activities.
• Skill in meeting and dealing effectively with the public.
• Strong communication, organizational, planning, and implementation skills.
• Knowledge of recreation and/or class activity planning.
• Must be highly motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable working alone.
