Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Outpatient Infusion Center. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, administer IV infusions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires a strong background in nursing, competent IV access skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
• Administer intravenous (IV) infusions and monitor patients for adverse reactions or complications.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document medical histories accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during procedures.
• Assist with triage and coordinate care for patients requiring additional services
• Qualifications
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Experience in outpatient settings preferred, familiarity with infusion therapy
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Athena.
• Strong clinical skills including IV insertion, medication administration, phlebotomy, and patient assessment.
• Background in critical care, emergency medicine, or hospital experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 coding.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
