Clients you support are striving to reach goals identified in their Individual Support Plans. To achieve these goals, individuals may require your assistance with, but not limited to, the following:
• Personal Care Assistance (bathing, toileting, dressing, mobility/transfers, nutrition)
• Socialization and Engagement with their preferred and developmentally appropriate activities
• Supervision and Monitoring for Safety
• Behavioral Management and Crisis Prevention
• Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication Techniques
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Two years (preferred) experience working with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities (Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, etc.)
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• BLS/CPR/First Aid Certification
• TB test or Chest X-ray done within 2 years
• Physical Clearance
• Must be able to meet training and agency compliance requirements
• Ability to comply with local and/or federal regulations regarding COVID-19 vaccination
