· Millwright or equipment installation background
· Forklift, scissor lift, or overhead crane certification
· Ability to interpret engineered drawings and welding symbols
· AWS welding certifications
· Mechanical aptitude
· Problem solving and troubleshooting

· Reliability and strong work ethic
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Work Environment
· Fabrication shop and occasional onsite installation
· Exposure to sparks, heat, noise, and moving equipment
· PPE required (gloves, eye protection, boots, etc.)
· Overtime or travel may be required depending on project needs

Qualifications
- • 5+ years in fabrication or welding experience in a shop or industrial setting
- • Ability to read tape measure, angles, fractions and shop math
- • Experience with MIG welding, TIG welding and Stick welding
- • Understanding of metal types, thicknesses, and heat effects
- • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- • Strong attention to craftsmanship
