e Transit LLC provides Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services with compassion, safety, and reliability. We are currently seeking responsible and caring drivers to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
As a NEMT Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting clients to and from medical appointments, adult day programs, and other essential services. This part-time role is perfect for someone looking to make an impact while working a consistent, split shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate company vehicles to transport clients on scheduled routes
• Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle when needed
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and communicate effectively with dispatch Ensure a respectful, patient-centered transportation experience
Schedule Details:
• Split Shift: Typically 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM & 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Monday through Friday (weekends off!) Occasional opportunities for extra hours/routes
Requirements:
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be at least 19 years old
• Ability to pass CORI/SORI background checks and drug screening
• Prior experience in transportation, human services, or caregiving is a plus
• Dependable, courteous, and committed to safety
• Able to pass drug screening Willingness to complete company-provided training (CPR/First Aid, Defensive Driving, etc.)
