Job Description
Pay Range: $26
Shifts: Monday-Friday (weekends as scheduled)
FT ONLY
Transport Driver Responsibilities:
• Transport and escort residents to/from medical appointments, activities, outings, and general errands
• Ability to organize scheduled appointments throughout the day
• Drive a wheelchair lift van, which is specially equipped with an automatic lift
• Responsible for obtaining directions to the location before leaving facility
• Communicate with facility about any pertinent information related to resident transportation
• Monitor and report any changes in condition with assigned residents
• Complete all transports to/from appointments with promptness, communicating all late arrivals/departures to clinic/facility
• Assist on the floor answering call lights as a NAC when there is downtime
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure quality of care
• Work with appointment scheduler on scheduling appts and transport
Requirements:
• Ability to pass MVA Background Check
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
• CNA preferred
• First aid and CPR certifications
