Job Description

• Collect patient histories and perform intake assessments to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring they are comfortable throughout their visit.
• Administer medications or injections as directed by physicians, following all safety protocols and medication administration guidelines.
• Support diagnostic procedures such as X-ray or ECG (electrocardiogram) tests, ensuring proper setup and patient positioning.
• Maintain detailed medical records, including ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases) for accurate billing and documentation purposes.
• Assist with hospital medicine, urgent care cases, or emergency medicine scenarios when needed, demonstrating adaptability across various clinical environments.
• Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, coordinating follow-up appointments, and ensuring a positive experience for Armenian-speaking patients.
• Support medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and updating EHR systems efficiently.
Skills
• Fluency in Armenian and English with excellent communication skills to effectively serve our patients.
• Knowledge of cardiology-specific procedures, medical terminology, medications, cardiac devices relevant to outpatient and inpatient care.
• Experience working in hospital settings, Level I or Level II trauma centers, or emergency departments with exposure to urgent care environments.
• Proficiency in EHR systems for documentation, intake processing, vital signs recording, ICD coding, and medication administration tracking.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to support medical administrative functions seamlessly.
